    Savannah:
… running a couple minutes late per usual to this appointment. My mom came with me. She can hear you.

    Bradly:
    Oh?

    Mom:
    Hi Bradly.

    Bradly:
I need to watch what I say.

    Savannah:
I’m still kind of upset about what my mom said last night. I know he’s still feeling upset, but Bradly and my mom are both a part of my life. So they’re going to have to figure out how to get along.
I don’t know if you will be able to get to hear a lot of the appointment. I know we talked about the money aspect of it, what exactly the cost is-

    Bradly:
    Yeah.

    Savannah:
… and the payment plans and what that looks like. But is there any other questions that you want me to make sure I ask them?

    Bradly:
Okay. $250 is not that much a month, if you can get it down to that.

    Savannah:
Well, obviously I’m going to try and get it as cheap as I can. But I also don’t want to be botched.
I have a list of surgeries that I want to get done. BBL was on there, but it was not at the top because a BBL is pretty expensive. So when Bradly said he wanted to pay for it, it kind of knocked it off my list, because now I don’t have to pay for it.
Okay. We only got two minutes left and my mom’s irritated.

    Mom:
    Come on!

    Savannah:
    Bye.

    Bradly:
    Bye babe.

    Savannah:
Bradly has a job lined up with a roofing company and he is going to start there as soon as he is ready.

    Greeter:
    Savannah? How are you?

    Savannah:
    Good, how are you?

    Greeter:
    Doing well.
Okay. So you can put the robe on and can leave the bra and underwear on.

    Savannah:
    Sounds good.
He likes big butts, and I don’t have a big butt. But I want one, and it’s just a win-win.

    Neil Zemmel:
    Hello.

    Mom:
    Hi.

    Savannah:
    Hi.

    Neil Zemmel:
    Hello there.

    Savannah:
    Hi.

    Neil Zemmel:
    Neil Zemmel.

    Savannah:
    Nice to meet you.

    Neil Zemmel:
Nice to meet you. How can we help you today?

    Savannah:
    Make me hot.
Okay. So a little bit of backstory. I had gastric bypass five years ago. I had a panniculectomy from hip to hip in April.

    Neil Zemmel:
    Okay.

    Savannah:
Just to get rid of extra-thick skin, tighten that up.

    Neil Zemmel:
And what was your starting weight then?

    Savannah:
    My highest was 290.

    Neil Zemmel:
    Okay.

    Savannah:
I’ve been overweight since, I mean, at least junior high. I think that that was how I coped when my hormones were raging and life was just horrible. “It’s just the end of the world, so let’s eat Twinkies about it.”

    Neil Zemmel:
Well, why don’t we take a look?

    Savannah:
    Okay.

    Neil Zemmel:
So I’m going to have you stand up and whenever you’re ready. Let me reach over here. Yeah, okay.

    Savannah:
When I was 21, I had gastric bypass. I lost over 100 pounds. It felt weird. Walking up the stairs, I almost bounced without meaning to at first. Normally, I would have to put a lot of effort into that.

    Neil Zemmel:
I think you’re starting off in good shape.

    Savannah:
But losing the weight didn’t get rid of my insecurities about my body.

    Neil Zemmel:
There’s also a procedure called a posterior body lift. Have you looked at that at all?

    Savannah:
No. But where you’re touching and saying that at the same time sounds great. Sign me up.

    Neil Zemmel:
Okay. What we can do is wrap all of the extra hanging skin all the way around the back, and take out all of this heavy hanging tissue here.

    Savannah:
So it wouldn’t be like your typical BBL. But you think that with all the contouring, that it’ll give the same effect?

    Neil Zemmel:
    Exactly.

    Savannah:
    What does is cost?

    Neil Zemmel:
So I’m going to have Kristin, my coordinator, meet with you. She’s going to prepare a quote. And if you want to move forward, we’ll meet again.

    Savannah:
    Okay. Sounds good. Thank you.

    Neil Zemmel:
    Good to see you.

    Savannah:
    I’m so excited.

    Kristin:
    Hey.

    Savannah:
    Hi.

    Kristin:
    How are you?

    Savannah:
    Good.

    Kristin:
Good, good to meet you. So the total cost of surgery is going to be $19,253 and 20 cents.

    Savannah:
We’ll have to crunch the numbers.

    Kristin:
    Okay.

    Savannah:
Bradly said he is going to pay for the BBL. How much is that a month?

    Mom:
$833. That’s like half the cost of an apartment rental.

    Savannah:
There could be a chance that he’s lying, but what that would do to me is send me to prison, because I would stab him.

    Speaker 7:
You’re not going to be able to come visit me.
