Lumpectomy Defect Reconstruction Patient 1

40 year old with right breast cancer. This patient underwent right breast lumpectomy, which resulted in a thickened depressed scar around the inner border of the areola. Reconstruction was performed to improve symmetry between the right and left breasts and to improve the contour of the scar. 275 cc smooth round moderate profile silicone implants were placed with a periareolar mastopexy to improve the volume asymmetry and to reposition the nipples. The scar was also revised during surgery. This patient is shown 6 months after surgery.
