About Emily Leisy, PA-C

A Richmond native from St. Catherine’s School, Emily graduated from James Madison University in 2006 and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science and Biology. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While in graduate school Emily specialized her clinical year in plastic surgery, dermatology, and the treatment of vein disorders. Emily belongs to both the Alpha Eta Honor Society and Golden Key International Honours Society and graduated number one in her class.

Emily is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Virginia State Board of Medical Examiners. She also is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.

Emily’s interests include traveling and spending time with her husband Rob and their three rescue dogs, Bama, Lilly, and Penny.

She has been a member of the Richmond Aesthetic Surgery team since early 2010. Emily performs the Botox and Juvederm injections in the office as well as all of the laser procedures. You can also find her first assisting Dr. Zemmel in all hospital surgeries.
